Skorpios began its operations in 1978 in order to exploit in a tourist way the beauty of the Patagonian fjords. The Chonos Route is carried out on the M/N Skorpios II, which was built in 1988 and remodeled in 2010, and has a capacity of up to 106 passengers. Sailing every Saturday and returning on Thursdays, from September to the end of April, from the Skorpios Terminal in the city of Puerto Montt, this 5 night sea voyage begins, sailing 800 miles to the amazing encounter with the magical ancient ice of the San Rafael Glacier, sailing through spectacular archipelagos, channels and gulfs through the route Chonos to travel this imposing territory where you can find towns and villages like Quemchi, Dalcahue and the fishing village of Puerto Aguirre, which show us in all their splendor the wonders of a vigorous nature that is reflected in the best way in the Island Rabbits, Islet Barrientos and Fjord Quitralco, with its hot springs and excursions in its vast sea dotted with islands.
