Undoubtedly San Pedro is one of the best known and photographed places in Chile, and that is that the landscapes and attractions start from the road of the airport El Loa until arriving to the town. Start by visiting the Cordillera de la Sal, Valle de Marte or Valle de la Muerte, and end up in the famous Valle de La Luna, where you can experience an incredible sunset with a wonderful view of the Atacama Desert. In the second day we will start visiting the Salar de Atacama, the largest salt reserve in Chile, to continue towards the Altiplano Lagoons, located 90 Kms from San Pedro, at 4,500 meters above sea level, immersed in the Los Flamencos National Reserve, to admire a rich fauna characterized by the tagua cornuda, Chilean flamenco, parina chica, caitó, chorlo de la puna, anatra juarjual and the guallata, all framed by the imposing volcanoes and mountains of the Andes. In the last day we will start very early, since at 04:00 am we will leave on the way to the Tatio Geysers, for the guided tour of this geothermal field and its unique fumaroles, and we will have breakfast admiring this landscape, to admire back to San Pedro the volcanoes Tocorpuri and Sairecahur, with a brief visit of the town of Machuca, strategic point for the caravans of llamas that traveled the Inca Trail.
