Climate
Due to its geographical location, the climate of Chile is the opposite of that found in Europe or North America. The climate in Santiago resembles that of the Mediterranean, with long, dry summers and short, mild winters. Winter - from May to August - is the rainy season, and temperatures fluctuate quite a bit (at night they can drop to zero and during the day they fluctuate between 10 and 25 degrees). Most of the accommodation and offices do not have central heating, so we recommend bringing warm clothing. In contrast, the summer in Santiago - November to March - is dry and hot (maximum temperatures between 30 to 35 degrees). At night it cools down nicely and hardly ever rains.
